waterway within the Paris Basin in the north of France.  This river flowing
through Paris and into the English Channel at Le Havre it is navigable by 
ocean going vessels as far as Rouen and Normandy.  It is negotiable by 
commercial river boats and nearly its whole length is available for recre-
ational boats, sight seeing tour boats for river cruiseing along seine river.
There are 37 bridges within Paris and dozen more spanning out of the city.
